How to Order a Memorial Photo
The ordering process is simple and straightforward. A memorial photo can be ordered in two ways — depending on its intended use and the method of mounting.
1. Ordering Through a Stonemason or Funeral Home
When arranging the details of the headstone with your stonemason, ask them to order and install the memorial photo design of your choice.
Together with the stonemason, agree the details of the order: the chosen shape of the photo, the colour finish and the size. Then provide the stonemason with several good-quality photographs of the deceased, or send them to our email address.
Within 2-3 days we will prepare a portrait design for your approval. Once you have approved it, we produce the memorial photo and send it to the stonemason’s address you give us, or directly to you.
If the memorial photo is ordered through a stonemason, the order is placed and settled directly with the stonemason as part of the complete headstone project.
A porcelain photo can also be ordered through selected funeral homes, as a keepsake of the deceased displayed on a stand — it is worth asking whether the funeral home works with us.
2. Ordering Directly Through the Online Shop
You can order a memorial photo yourself in our online shop. Simply choose the appropriate shape and size, upload several photographs and pay for the order.
Within 2–5 business days we will prepare a design for your review. Once you have approved it, we produce the item and send it directly to you, or to the stonemason you specify for mounting on the headstone.
Please note: if you are buying a porcelain photo for display at home as a keepsake, we recommend purchasing an additional stand.
Frequently asked questions — useful to know
How long does it take to prepare a memorial photo?
We prepare the grave portrait design within 2-3 days of receiving the complete set of photographs from the customer. Once the design has been approved, we begin producing the photo on the chosen material (porcelain or crystal) without delay, and then protect it and prepare it for shipment.
Where the order includes physical production and shipping, the total turnaround time is usually approximately 1-2 weeks.
What size of image is suitable for a headstone?
This depends on the type of headstone and the size of the grave plaque. We most commonly recommend the 9 × 12 cm format and similar sizes — both smaller and larger, depending on the proportions of the headstone.
We recommend agreeing the size of the photo individually with your stonemason, so that it can be matched to the particular headstone design and to the place where it will be mounted.
Which type of print do we recommend: porcelain, crystal or tempered glass?
The right type of print depends on the design of the headstone and on your own aesthetic preferences.
For smaller photos mounted on a headstone we most often recommend a classic photo on porcelain or a contemporary photo on crystal with bevelled edges. These are elegant, durable solutions that sit well with most headstones.
If, on the other hand, you want a large, prominently displayed photo, or you are planning a glass grave plaque with a portrait of the deceased, we recommend choosing a large-format photo on ultra-white tempered glass. These are the materials we most often use for our headstone plaques.

How do I choose photographs of the deceased for the portrait?
Please make sure that the photographs you send are sharp and taken from a short distance. Photographs in which the person is shown from the waist up work best.
We recommend sending several photographs, which allows us to choose the most suitable shot. If there are problems with the quality of the photographs, we can retouch or reconstruct them digitally, keeping the portrait natural and dignified.
