The crackled orange glass heart for a columbarium plaque is a glass heart designed to be set into a stone columbarium plaque. The opaque orange glass has a crackled texture with a network of yellow lines and stands out strongly against dark stone.

Features of the glass heart
We make the heart by hand in our own workshop, and each piece has a slightly different pattern of cracks from the one in the photo. At the edges the glass lies flush with the stone, and it rises gently towards the centre.
The standard heart is 30 cm wide and 26.5 cm high. The size you choose is the size of the plaque it is made for: there are 15 sizes to choose from (width × height), from 30 × 30 to 55 × 50 cm. On a smaller plaque we match the heart to leave room for the inscription.
Other sizes to order
We can also make the heart in a different size or for a different plaque, by prior arrangement and quotation. If your columbarium niche has an unusual format, please get in touch.

No. The price covers the glass heart only. The stone plaque, inscription and screws are provided by the memorial mason; those in the photos are examples.
How long does it take to make the heart?
Making the heart usually takes 3–6 weeks, depending on the size and the amount of work involved.
How do I choose the size?
The size is the size of the plaque the heart will be set into. Before ordering, it is worth checking this with the cemetery office or your memorial mason. Sizes are given as width × height.
Does the heart stand proud of the plaque?
At the edges the glass lies almost flush with the stone. It rises gently towards the centre.
