Headstone Decorations

Glass headstone decorations are made using two techniques. Panels with a motif and stained-glass panels are two bonded sheets of ultra-white toughened glass with a ceramic print, while crosses, hearts and strips are made by hand from glass fired in a kiln, with the colour pattern painted underneath.

The decoration is fixed to the stone tablet with a flexible adhesive, or set into the tablet or into the plinths; panels that let light through can be built into the window of the headstone. Working from a technical drawing, we will also make another size or shape, agreed together with the memorial mason.
